After the national tragedy that resulted in 28 deaths on October 11, 2017, the media is scrambling to get a clear understanding of the suspect’s identity and motive. As of right now, the shooter has been identified as 26-year-old Devin P. Kelley, a former soldier who was dishonorably discharged from the military.
A particularly haunting element of this narrative is an eerie evocation can be seen on the Facebook page It’s Going Down, which boasts over 24,000 followers. On a post concerning strategizing beyond the “fall of the alt-right,” a Facebook user by the name of David Pollack posted the following comment:

No context was provided for the comment, and nothing in the original post the comment is found on pertains to conservative churches or violence.
This is a haunting comment. Was Kelley part of a larger conspiring group, perhaps a far-left activist group associated with It’s Going Down?
