Throughout history, people have always had a fascination with celestial events. These events were linked to people even more so than today because they looked to the heavens for answers to The Great Mystery.

Today billions of people are still captivated by the magic of the cosmos. Although much celestial worship has left the mainstream, the occult is making a small resurgence; this is mostly in part because of the internet.
Occultists, in the general sense of the word, see great meaning in these types of events. To break it down, the Sun symbolizes masculine energy:
“Astrologically speaking, the Sun is usually thought to represent the conscious ego, the self and its expression, personal power, pride and authority, leadership qualities and the principles of creativity, spontaneity, health and vitality, the sum of which is named the ‘life force’.” Source
The Moon symbolizes feminine energy:
On August 21st, 2017, many Americans were able to see the Moon eclipse the Sun, the feminine dominate the masculine; it is similar to right vs left brain, the mother and the father, the dark and the light.
It is likely many practitioners of the occult or other kinds of magic, would do some sort of ritual today. This could range from a simple sigil/rune binding ceremony, to something much more extreme unfortunately. Rest assured that the former is mostly what is going on today.
At, 3:33 PM EST, the eclipse is pretty much over and life hasn’t descended into chaos. Life will probably continue to go on as normal, for better or worse. An interesting site for many to see, a first for some and while this is a rare event, a similar one will happen 7 years later. Also be on guard, as there is another celestial happening just on the horizon, a mere 33 days away September 23rd, 2017.
