Tomorrow an event known as Freedom Rally San Francisco is scheduled to be held.  An event that has already received loads of attention from the usual angry liberal suspects.  Including everything from an organized mass dog poop campaign to Antifa leaders claiming they will be there to “crush some Nazi skulls.”

Even House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi got in on the fun claiming rather oddly in the video below that “the Constitution does not say that a person can yell wolf in a crowded theater.”  Nancy of course seems doubly confused here.  As the correct line is fire not wolf, and despite what she is arguing just a mere two months ago our Supreme Court unanimously chose to reaffirm in the clearest of terms, there is no “hate speech” exception to the First Amendment.

But I would like to bring to your attention a part of this ongoing saga that has yet to receive much attention. Which is the following letter sent out by the Administration at the University of San Francisco to every student at the school.

In this letter the school informs the students that the nearby rally is being organized by “White Nationalists and Hate Groups”. The organizers of the rally and alleged hate group in question being Patriot Prayer. A group who describe themselves as being “about fighting corruption and big government with the strength and power of love.”  Seems odd that an alleged hate group would be talking about the power of love doesn’t it?

The letter attempts to link this upcoming small government rally to the now infamous Unite the Right rally held in Charlottesville weeks ago.  This despite the fact that a mere moments glance on the official Facebook event page for the rally, makes such a link ridiculous. With the following messaged displayed front and center on the page.

“No extremists will be allowed in. No Nazis, Communist, KKK, Antifa, white supremacist, I.E., or white nationalists. This is an opportunity for moderate Americans to come in with opposing views. We will not allow the extremists to tear apart this country. Specifically, Richard Spencer and NathanDamigo will not be welcome.”

In fact the post even directly addresses the accusations being thrown at the event.

“Before you accuse Patriot Prayer as being hateful, please find specific examples. You will not find any hate speech, you are being lied to by corrupt politicians. SF is supposed to be a safe haven for minorities. If this is true then please be respectful to the speakers we are bringing in. 3 black, 2 hispanic, 1 asian, 1 Samoan, 1 muslim, 2 woman, and 1 white male. There will also be an opportunity for an open mic for moderate Americans. Love and Peace is the only way to heal this country- so we ask that you do not use hate against us with the intent of fighting hate. We are here to spread a message of love.”

In what world do we live in that major politicians and Universities are condemning a group stating only that “we are here to spread a message of love” as hate filled monsters?  This type of propaganda pushed on us by the mainstream news and Big Government political machine, is what ensures violence will in fact occur.  As it will only serve to attract thousands of good at heart but misguided protesters to the scene, that legitimately believe they are there to do battle with actual Nazi’s.  Having truly no idea that they are more likely to find instead only a mix of Libertarians, Classical Liberals, and Traditional Conservatives united in their love of Free Speech and Personal Liberty.
