Let’s have a conversation about extremist content. Former Youtube advertisers including Starbucks pulled ads because they appeared on muh ‘Neo-Nazi’ videos, but somehow none of these companies were concerned that their ads were showing up on a CONVICTED child molester who tried to rape a one-year-old girl. Ads from Ford and Amazon, who are a part of Youtube’s “Preferred Advertisers’, show up before Lostprophets’ videos play as well as ads from Apple, Yelp, and Loreal.

Seeing advertisements being removed from people who just want to speak their mind is unjust. Seeing advertisements instead being given to people who do actual harm to society is despicable, to say the least. Below are some screen caps of a few ads that one might see before viewing a Lostprophets video.

Ford? Apple? Of course, a lot of us like and use these products, but it can certainly be said that this puts a bad taste in our mouths. There are a few others as well.

No one is saying anything either. Not the companies, not the mainstream media, no one. All this tells us, is that companies like these don’t want their ads on “Muh Nazi” content, but content produced by a pedophile? They’re all for it! It isn’t as if this is alleged behavior either, Ian Watkins was given a heavy sentence for his crimes. BBC writes:

Watkins, 36, from Pontypridd, pleaded guilty at Cardiff Crown Court last month to 13 child sex offenses. His two co-defendants, who are the mothers of children he abused, were jailed for 14 and 17 years.

Watkins was sentenced to 29 years in prison with a further six years on license, but he will be eligible for parole after serving two-thirds of the prison term.

He also admitted conspiring to rape a child, three counts of sexual assault involving children, seven involving taking, making or possessing indecent images of children and one of possessing an extreme pornographic image involving a sex act on an animal.

Evidently, the sexual advancements didn’t stop there, as Watkins reportedly “groomed” one of his fans from prison, which resulted in her Two-year-old daughter being taken away from her. The Twenty-one-year-old fan admitted that during one visit he made a disgusting remark about her young daughter watching her have sex.

So the question is, does this band get any money from these ads? More than likely, they do. Are companies like Apple, Ford, and Amazon just not paying attention to where their ads show up online or does this not matter since they aren’t right-wing talking heads? Internet personalities such as Lauren Southern and Revenge Of The Cis are suffering from little to no ad revenue, and YouTube isn’t doing a thing about it.

So what this is telling us, is that YouTube hates anything that isn’t liberal, and loves everything that is so painfully obvious in its connections with pedophilia. For these companies not to demand that their ads be removed from Lostprophets’ videos says a lot about them.
