McAfee’s Sentinel Targets Google. A.I. at War?
In his words, Google has, ” … taken the mantle of corporate conscience, and sacrificed it on the altar of mammon, for money.”
The founder of McAfee Antivirus and renowned cyber security pioneer took to Russian media outlet RT in a recent interview, essentially declaring war against Google and its expanding empire.
“I love Google from one standpoint, that it has opened up the world to information beyond comprehension.”
“But if you believe that Google is not harmful, then you must believe that the total loss of our privacy and human dignity is not harmful.”
“We are not numbers. I’m not a statistic, I’m not a collection of attitudes and desires, I’m a human being with my own dreams and hopes and problems, and by making me a number, you’ve removed my dignity.”
He is not at all wrong, and in fact he is painting Google in a very mild light. They are very much a growing monopoly, consuming all the right companies and technologies for possible world domination.
So how does McAfee plan to combat the all seeing, all knowing tech giant?
With a black box known as Sentinel.
“It’s the world’s first anti-hacking device”, McAfee told RT. “I’m just two minutes away from putting in the switch to make the Google crawlers be hackers.”
So what exactly is Sentinel and how does it work?
According to the CTO Chris Roberts of MGT:
“We know how the attackers work, so Sentinel has been enhanced to blend seamlessly within its environment by maintaining the appropriate port and service configurations. Sentinel’s advanced capabilities will monitor extraneous traffic to identify legitimate threats within seconds.”
According to their website it does this using sophisticated algorithms.
This is exactly how artificial intelligence works.
An article published in futurism explaining artificial intelligence:
“Machine learning is a category within the larger field of artificial intelligence that is concerned with conferring upon machines the ability to “learn.” This is achieved by using algorithms that discover patterns and generate insights from the data they are exposed to, for application to future decision-making and predictions, a process that sidesteps the need to be programmed specifically for every single possible action.”
The origins of Sentinel are also a bit on the gray side.
MGT Capital Investments bought the technology from a company known as Cyberdonix, Inc. for 150,000 restricted shares of MGT stock.
Their website no longer exists.
It was supposedly created by two of the top hackers in the world who awarded a $17.2 million dollar contract to Global Manufacturing in Arab, AL to produce Sentinel.
Type in global manufacturing arab, al into google and the first thing that comes up is:
Home – Welcome To Global Manufacturing.us
Global Manufacturing is located 20 minutes south of Huntsville Alabama and provide Box … We are a Minority owned SDB company located in Arab Alabama.
Their website no longer works. The identity of the hackers is unknown.
The subscriber that posted the above YouTube video explaining the Cyberdonix Sentinel has no other posts, no subscribers, and a generic profile.
The back story of Sentinel’s origins seems rather contrived. Therefore, the possibility that McAfee has gotten his hands on some controversial tech such as artificial intelligence could be very real.
It’s not like he’s the only one. This is just the tip of the iceberg:
- Google has DeepMind.
- Microsoft has Tay, which is an abbreviation for Thinking About You (slightly creepy … oh and it’s racist).
- Apple plans to have one on every device shortly.
- Researchers at the University of California (UC), Berkeley, have produced an artificial intelligence that is naturally curious.
- A hedge fund known as the Medallion Fund, an employees-only offering for Renaissance Technologies … which is made up of algorithm experts … has been the top performing fund since its inception 28 years ago.
It is known as the “blackest box in all of finance”, and it is closed off to the public.
There’s that black box similarity.
In fact, Google DeepMind illustrates itself the same way in a recent tweet.
Quantum computers being developed by D-Wave Systems reside within black box refrigerators.
The infamous black box/cube, a symbol that exists all over our world and throughout human history.
The black cube has a connection to artificial intelligence and it is fascinating. I have provided my research here if you wish to venture further.
Are We Already In the Middle of an A.I. War?
MGT Capital is also a Bitcoin mining operation.
“We will definitely be profitable before the end of the year,” McAfee said in a phone interview Wednesday. “From bitcoin mining, we will get the experience and expertise to apply the blockchain to our security products.”
Cryptocurrency mining is based upon CPU power and those with the most powerful computers (quantum computers), as well as the software to run them (artificial intelligence), seem to be battling it out for global supremacy.
CIA uses techniques to make cyber attacks look like they originated from enemy state. It turns DNC/Russia hack allegation by CIA into a JOKE

Cyber weapons that can easily be altered to originate from anywhere, in a world that is theorized by a ridiculous amount of experts at this point to be a digital matrix a.k.a. data, filled with several developing forms of A.I. and quantum computers seemingly engaged in a possible war for superiority.
Elon Musk, the man behind the electric car company Tesla, and SpaceX, has said it’s a ‘billions to one chance that we’re not living in a simulation’.
MGT’s Sentinel appears to have entered the battle as another A.I. contender.
Given John McAfee’s track record of being anti-establishment, is he perhaps one of the good guys?
Are tech billionaires attempting to break us out of the digital Matrix and are now at war with rival tech corporations?
Are we in the middle of an A.I. war?
