You heard it all throughout the Trump campaign; “I swear on everything that if Trump wins, I’m leaving the U.S!” To which we pretty much replied, “Go ahead, make my day, punk.” But which countries did they swear on their lives that they would move to? Certainly not countries like Haiti, or Cuba, or Venezuela. But why not those countries? Is it that these ones just aren’t good enough? Are they, dare I say it, sh*thole countries? Of course, the left won’t admit to agreeing with an alleged Trump quote.
Kathryn Hahn (Bad Moms) said that she would move to Iceland if Donald Trump won the presidency. Rosie O’Donnell said she would move to Canada. Neve Campbell also promised to move to Canada, along with others such as Lena Dunham, Keegan-Michael Key, Chloe Sevigny, Barbra Streisand, Ne-Yo, Stephen King, and Raven-Symone. Are any of them actually living in Canada now? Absolutely not. But the fact of the matter is, they didn’t choose to relocate to the countries they were so adamant about sticking up for as being “top of the line” countries. No. They chose a predominantly white, first world country. How about that?
Other countries mentioned by celebrities were Siberia (Zosia Mamet), Italy (Elizabeth Moss and Omari Hardwick), South Africa (Samuel L. Jackson), and Spain (Amy Schumer) Of course, just like their Canadian loving celebrities peers, none of them stayed true to their word, and they picked mostly white countries that are developed and successful.
Other celebrities joked that they would relocate to a mental hospital, (which if they are a liberal, they probably should have anyway) Jupiter, or just straight up leave the planet. Miley Cyrus even stated, “Donald Trump is a nightmare. Honestly, I am moving if this is my president! I don’t say things I don’t mean!” Except for that. She didn’t mean that. Miley is still being Miley in within the greatest country in the world.
The liberals and SJW’s have unknowingly proven the alleged “Sh*thole countries” remark right. Though they speak out against Trump and the statement, none of them actually want to move to these countries. This is liberal hypocrisy at its finest.
