Remember kids, whatever you put into the internet never goes away. Ever.
At approximately 3:20PM on November 3, 2017, Senator Rand Paul was attacked by a man by the name of Rene Boucher. According to the Daily News, Paul received only “minor injuries;” however, according to the severity of those injuries, Boucher will be charged accordingly.
“Senator Paul was blindsided and the victim of an assault,” stated Paul’s communications director. “The assailant was arrested and it is now a matter for the police.” While we can rest knowing that the beloved conservative has not been physically harmed, justice is still demanded.
So, here is a profile on Rene Boucher, the attacker of Rand Paul.
Boucher is a former anesthesiologist who grew up in or around New Bedford, MA, and attended Providence College in Providencec, RI. Having graduated from the College of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines in ’84, Boucher then went to work on anesthesiology with the U.S. Army from 1985-1993.
Boucher is currently married to Lisa Spells Boucher. He has one child known to the public: Evan Boucher, who majored in Civil and Enviromental Engineering at the University of Louisville, and the youngest seems to be no older than a year.
Boucher shares a lot of anti-Trump propaganda, mostly from the Facebook page Occupy Democrats, a left-leaning liberal page dedicated to defaming the Republican platform. Although other sources indicate that Boucher is a registered Republican, his apparent dissatisfaction with the state of the GOP may play a role in what caused him to act violently towards Rand Paul.
