Ramadan, (this year beginning on May 15th and ending June 14th) has already seen uncomfortably large amounts of casualties as Jihadists scramble to murder whomever whenever in the name of Allah.

Most Muslims abide by Ramadan’s fasting tradition: abstaining from eating, drinking, smoking, having sex, and other physical needs each day, starting from before the break of dawn until sunset. But in places like Afghanistan, Jihadists in big numbers are rallying together and taking out as many people as humanly possible.

The narco-jihadists targeted a cricket tournament dubbed the “Ramadan Cup,” which angered Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, who urged the terrorists to stop their attacks during the holy month, echoing the leaders from the U.S. and the United Nations. But I guess after the holy month is over, they’re allowed to go back to being terrorists again? We need some clarification on that.

In his Ramadan message, American Gen. John Nicholson, the top commander of U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan, urged the Taliban to accept the proposal for peace and allow people to safely participate in the fasting.

“While you, the noble people of Afghanistan, practice the holy month of Ramadan with prayer, donation, devotion, and praying for peace, your National Defense and Security Forces are defending your country and fighting for peace. These brave men and women are the true heroes of your nation, who continue to sacrifice and put their lives on the line to protect you, your families, and to provide a prosperous and peaceful future for this country.”

He also adds,

“In this holy month of Ramadan, we encourage all armed Taliban to accept the offer of His Excellency, the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and join in peace talks, for a better future for their children and the noble people of this great nation.”

So far, over 40 casualties have been reported, with hundreds of others badly wounded. If the extremists refuse to listen to cries for peace, those numbers could rise and drastically outdo last years tragic deaths, which is the worst in recorded history at 1,639.

Muslims in these Wild West countries who participate in their religion’s mandatory time of fasting should keep to themselves as much as possible because despite this being a time of supposed peace, the streets are a war zone filled with Jihadists who think they’ll achieve greater rewards for killing innocent people.
