A family Floridian family had recently decided to fish at Crescent Lake in St. Petersburg, FL when a group of fanatical animal rights activists rudely confronted them for catching a rather impressive 4lb tilapia. As the proud father laid the satisfying catch on the sidewalk while waiting for another person to fetch a bucket, a man then approached the family, saying the following, among other things:

“Killing animals is not right, it is not an opinion – it is a fact!”

“Fish feel pain, just like your child does!” (This claim has been ripped to shreds by an international team of neurobiologists, behavioral ecologists and fishery scientists who concluded that fish do not have the neuro-physiological capacity for a conscious awareness of pain.)

“Why don’t you eat human beings?” (Because they’re humans, dipshit.)

“You stole that fish out of his home.”

“It’s not food – it’s violence!”

The activists in the video, identified as the That Vegan Activist Family on YouTube, have uploaded several videos of actively “saving” animals by stealing them from slaughterhouses in the like; however, all uploads have been removes by the channel as of July 14, 2017 for unknown purposes. “These animals are amazing individuals,” one activist said in an interview, “and they deserve a life with their families, free from harm. Thousands of animals are dying every second world wide, and I feel like its my moral obligation to do everything I can to save them. I love them too much not to fight for them.”
